You could say that I am passionate about board games (maybe more of a geek, but let’s say it’s more of a passion that an obsession). In my free time I move game pieces, place bricks and roll dice on the board. The type of games I find the most attractive are ones driven by negative interaction, where players jump to each others’ throats being malignant to the bone. Another favourite of mine are cooperation games with a theme so immersive, it lends itself to going as far as role-playing the events of the game, when talking about it afterwards. What I don’t like in board games is unnecessary, unjustified overcomplication of rules, as well as mechanics unsuited to the type of game.
